main1

We've been playing around and planning for which OS to use underneath the vmain server. We've tested and therefore chosen Windows 7. We might be able to upgrade it to Windows 10, and have it still work okay. It works, we're proud to say, so we are no longer stuck in one spot. Now we can continue.

It does change the definitions of the main1 server and the vmain server slightly though. Now main1 does basically nothing, because Windows 7 can basically do no server work, and vmain does all the work instead, since Linux can be used as a great server OS. We've stuck with Mandriva Linux 2010.1, because Mageia Linux just isn't ready for our needs yet. I hope Mageia eventually produces something usable for us, so that we can upgrade to Mageia Linux. In the meantime, we will use Mandriva Linux.
